OFFICIAL RECOGNITION OVERVIEW

Understanding roles, responsibilities and institutional requirements

Official recognition within the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation (WJJC) represents formal acknowledgment within an institutional framework.
It is granted to individuals or entities that meet defined technical, ethical and organizational standards and that operate in alignment with WJJC regulations.
Recognition is not informal, automatic or symbolic, but the result of a structured institutional process.

WHO THIS IS FOR
This process applies to:

Schools seeking official recognition within the WJJC framework
Instructors applying for certified status under WJJC standards
Individuals considered for national or regional representation
Recognition is granted only where institutional requirements are met.

WHAT OFFICIAL RECOGNITION IMPLIES

The WJJC Global Representation Network is not a franchise system, a commercial license or an informal association of schools.
It does not operate through autonomous local structures, but through coordinated institutional roles aligned with the central framework of the WJJC.

INSTITUTIONAL AGREEMENT

All forms of official recognition within the WJJC are governed by a formal Institutional Agreement.
This agreement defines mutual obligations, conditions of recognition, scope of authorization and compliance requirements, ensuring protection and clarity for both the WJJC and the recognized party.

WHAT OFFICIAL RECOGNITION IS NOT

Official recognition is not a commercial license, a franchise, or a free membership.
It does not grant unrestricted autonomy and does not operate outside the WJJC institutional framework.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

The recognition process is based on evaluation of technical competence, organizational capability and institutional alignment.
Requests are reviewed by the WJJC according to established criteria and may include documentation review, assessment procedures and formal approval.
