Ju-Jitsu Standards · Professional Training Framework

The Kishidō System is the structured martial framework developed and preserved within the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation (WJJC).
Kishidō means “The Way of the Knight” and represents a path of discipline, responsibility and conscious strength.
This meaning is symbolically reflected in the WJJC emblem, inspired by Saint George defeating the dragon — the victory of order, control and virtue over chaos.
A MARTIAL SYSTEM AND A MARTIAL MINDSET
The Kishidō System is not limited to technique alone.
It represents a disciplined martial mindset in which effectiveness is guided by control, awareness and ethical conduct.
Strength without discipline has no direction; discipline gives strength its purpose.
ENERGY AS THE FOUNDATION
Within the Kishidō System, energy is the foundation of all effective action.
Speed and precision are not trained as separate attributes, but arise naturally from correct energy management, body control and intent.
Energy generates speed.
Speed allows precision.
Precision defines effectiveness.
A STRUCTURED TECHNICAL FOUNDATION
The technical structure of the Kishidō System is built upon ten core movements known as Basic Techniques (BT).
These techniques form the foundation upon which the entire technical and methodological development of the system is constructed.
THE ROLE OF THE BASIC TECHNIQUES (BT)
The ten Basic Techniques (BT) are designed to educate the practitioner in correct energy expression.
Through the BT, energy is generated, directed and controlled, allowing speed and precision to emerge without tension or brute force.
They function as structural references that support all advanced techniques and applications.
A PROGRESSIVE AND UPDATED SYLLABUS
The Kishidō syllabus is progressive in structure and increasing in difficulty.
It is regularly updated to meet the standards required for effective personal defense, while remaining firmly anchored to traditional martial roots.
MODERN EFFECTIVENESS WITH MARTIAL DISCIPLINE
While modern and highly effective in application, the Kishidō System maintains strong martial discipline.
Training emphasizes energy, timing, precision and responsibility, ensuring that technique is always supported by mindset and conduct.
KISHIDŌ JU-JITSU
Kishidō Ju-Jitsu represents the primary martial expression of the Kishidō System.
Rooted in traditional Ju-Jitsu, it embodies the principles of energy, speed and precision within a structured and disciplined framework.
THE ROLE OF THE WJJC
The World Ju-Jitsu Corporation safeguards the integrity of the Kishidō System through standards, education and institutional oversight.
This ensures consistency across countries while allowing structured growth and individual development within a shared framework.
