1. Purpose
This Code of Ethics defines the ethical principles, standards of conduct and responsibilities that govern all activities carried out under the name and structure of the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation (WJJC).
It applies to all affiliated members, instructors, officials, representatives and institutions operating within the WJJC framework.
2. Ethical Foundation
The WJJC is founded on the principles of:
responsibility
discipline
respect
integrity
institutional loyalty.
Martial practice within the WJJC is understood as a path of personal and collective responsibility, not as a means of domination, abuse or personal gain.
3. Conduct and Responsibility
All affiliated individuals are required to:
act with honesty and integrity
respect the dignity, safety and rights of others
uphold the reputation and credibility of the WJJC
comply with local laws and regulations.
Any form of violence, discrimination, harassment or abuse is incompatible with the values of the WJJC.
4. Authority and Institutional Respect
Affiliated members shall:
respect the institutional structure of the WJJC
recognize the authority of appointed roles and governing bodies
refrain from actions that undermine institutional coherence or legitimacy.
Titles, ranks and appointments are not personal property and may not be used for personal or commercial exploitation.
5. Teaching and Transmission
Instruction within the WJJC must:
• adhere to approved standards and methodologies,
• respect safety, legality and proportionality,
• avoid misrepresentation of the Kishidō System.
Unauthorized teaching, certification or representation of the Kishidō System is strictly prohibited.
6. Professional and Public Conduct
Affiliated individuals shall:
• maintain appropriate conduct in public, professional and media contexts,
• avoid statements or actions that may harm the image or integrity of the WJJC,
• clearly distinguish personal opinions from institutional positions.
• Use of the WJJC name or logo must comply with official guidelines.
7. Conflicts of Interest
Affiliated members must avoid conflicts of interest that may compromise their impartiality, integrity or institutional responsibilities.
Any situation that may generate a conflict of interest must be disclosed to the appropriate WJJC authorities.
8. Compliance and Enforcement
Compliance with this Code of Ethics is mandatory.
The WJJC reserves the right to:
investigate alleged violations
adopt disciplinary measures
suspend or revoke affiliations, certifications or appointments.
Disciplinary actions are taken in accordance with institutional procedures and principles of fairness.
9. Acceptance
Affiliation with the World Ju-Jitsu Corporation implies full acceptance of this Code of Ethics.
Failure to comply may result in institutional action.
10. Final Statement
The Code of Ethics exists to protect the integrity, continuity and credibility of the WJJC and the Kishidō System.
Ethics within the WJJC are not symbolic declarations, but operational responsibilities.
